How do we work together for patient recovery?
Get in touch as soon as possible
In the case of a burn, after providing first aid, the caregiver should contact me immediately by phone. The sooner treatment can be started, the more effective the outcome.
Information for treatment
The first phone call will only take a few minutes. I need the following information:
- Patient's first name and age
- Exact location of combustion
- Patient consent to treatment
Treatment
After the short phone conversation, I give the treatment. One treatment is sufficient and there are no contraindications. The treatment runs seamlessly alongside regular care. Pain relief facilitates care delivery by nursing at the bedside.
Evaluation after treatment
I ask the patient to give me feedback on how they experienced the treatment within a few days of the treatment. Thus, the caregiver only needs to call me for help in the acute phase. Otherwise, the caregiver is completely relieved of the burden.
Cost
Upon satisfaction with the treatment, I ask the patient for a contribution of €75. The caregiver does not have to worry about payment or further questions; this is handled with the patient later without intervention by the caregiver.
